Version 1: A basic prusa i3

Used the building instructions of: http://www.instructables.com/id/Building-a-Prusa-i3-3D-Printer/

• Power supply is an old computer power supply
• Frame is made from wood
• Motors are a gift from a friend
• Smooth rods are in some cases from old equipement
• Glass plate is from an old flat-bed scanner

Shipping cost about 1 euro.

Slightly improved: direct drive with bigger motor and no longer on X axis. Also first printed parts as replacement of wood.

Version 2: An improved prusa i3

Improvements:

• Addition of a display + SD card reader to make the printer work stand-alone
• Wade extrusion iso direct drive
• Improved hot-end
• Inductive proximity sensor
• Lead screws iso M8 rods

 Shipping cost: about 12 euro.

Version 3: an ultimaker clone

• Filament driver is build with an old motor
• Glass plate is an old mirror
• Aluminium plate is from old equipment
• Z-lead screw is from old equipment
• Smoothie board + display was a gift

Ultimaker clone

Version 4: A multicolor printer

Started with a two color printer, but due to the start of the ultimaker clone this had to be stopped (one of the two hot-end was required for the ultimaker).
